Start of the qualifying stage

Start of the qualifying round
Here are the problems for the qualifying round of the Olympiad. Remember that the solution to a problem must include not only the correct answer but also a full justification.

We would be happy to have your friends who enjoy mathematics participate in the Olympiad. However, submissions showing signs of copying or «collective effort» will not be considered.

You do NOT need to copy the problem statements into your submission.

Submissions may be written in Russian, English, or Turkish. The use of other languages must be approved by the organizers in advance. Prize-winners of the 2025/26 «Formula of Unity» / «Third Millennium» Mathematics Olympiad will be invited directly to the final round.

Procedure for Submitting Solutions
The problems are published here on the Olympiad website, while solutions must be uploaded via the information system (your personal account) at is.formulo.org.

Please note: in your personal account, there is a large blue button in the top-right corner labeled «Olympiad Information.» This section contains all relevant details about the Olympiad, including the problem statements, ensuring that everything you need is readily available.

Prepare the solution for each problem as a separate file, register in the information system, and upload your solutions through your personal account no later than 23:59:59 UTC on November 5, 2026 (02:59:59 Moscow time on November 6).

Be sure to read the instructions for participation

Important: if you already have an account, you DO NOT NEED to create a new one.

You can upload either text files (TXT, DOC, DOCX, PDF) or scans of handwritten work (JPG, PNG). Each problem must be uploaded under its corresponding number. Solution files must not contain the participant’s surname, first name, or any other personal information.

We do not accept qualifying round submissions via any other method.
